Our Calcium Alginate Dressing is made of natural fibers derived from seaweed which has been shown to have natural healing properties. The highly absorbent dressing quickly absorbs exudates and forms a bacterial resistant, gel-like covering over the wound, maintaining a moist environment for ideal wound healing. The gel-like surface also keeps the dressing from adhering to the wound to minimize pain on removal.
